- What does this Privacy Policy apply to?
This Policy currently applies to all Web Sites owned and operated by Brash Entertainment and that post a direct link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, “Web Sites” or “Sites”). Presently, these Sites include:
www.brashent.com
www.jumpermoviegame.com
In addition, this Policy applies only to information, if any, provided to us by consumers online and at the Web Sites listed above. This Policy does not cover information that may be collected by Brash Entertainment offline. It also does not cover information that may be submitted to us solely in a business capacity, such as personal information contained in resumes from job applicants or requests from the media.
Please be aware that while you are visiting our Web Sites, you may be given the opportunity to link to other sites that are maintained by other companies or organizations, such as our licensees or licensors. These third party sites are beyond our control, and we are not responsible for the practices or content of such sites. When you link to another site from our Sites, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We recommend that you read the privacy policy of the web site to which you have linked before you provide any personal information to that site.
- Do we collect personal information and, if so, how is it used?
At this time, Brash Entertainment does not request or solicit personal information (such as name, e-mail address, or phone number) from visitors to our Web Sites. We also do not collect demographic information such as your age, gender, or product preferences. We may provide corporate e-mail addresses to which users can send us questions or comments. By allowing you to send e-mail to us, we are not attempting to collect any personal or demographic information about you. We use the information contained in an e-mail (such as your e-mail address) solely to respond to your specific inquiry or comments, and for no other purpose.
We also do not collect personal information about our online visitors through the use of passive collection mechanisms such as cookies. We may however use cookies to collect certain non-personal information about your visit to our Sites. For more information on cookies and other automated collection mechanisms, please see Section 4 below.
Because Brash Entertainment does not currently offer online features that require or request the collection of personal information, your refusal to provide personal information will have no effect on your use of our Sites. You will still be able to browse our Sites and view their content.
- Do we collect personal information from children under 13?
Brash Entertainment recognizes the importance of protecting children online and, to this end, is committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Our Web Sites do not presently collect any personal information from our visitors and, therefore, no personal information is requested or collected from children at this time. We encourage parents to stay actively involved in their children’s online activities and to exercise caution when their children are asked to provide personal information online.
- Does we use cookies, track IP addresses, or use other automated means to collect information?
Like many other sites on the Internet, we may use standard web technologies that automatically gather certain statistics and technical information about traffic to our Sites. For example, we may use a "cookie" (a small text file or record-keeping device that websites often store on a user's computer) so we can tell whether you visited our Sites before. Through the use of log files or web logs, we may also record certain information about your visit to our Sites, including the type of browser you used, your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) Address (assigned by your Internet Service Provider), date and time of your visit, and which pages you clicked on. This information allows us to assess overall Site activity, track interest in particular portions of our Sites, and troubleshoot technical problems. The information collected does not identify you personally or tell us who you are.
Through the settings of your Internet browser, you can always disable or delete cookies, or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent to your computer. To do this, go to the Tools tab of your Internet browser, select Options or Internet Options, and then choose the Privacy tab to make your selections. Please note that if you choose to disable cookies, certain features on our Sites may not be available or work properly.
- What is the name of the entity or entities collecting information through this Site?
Any information submitted to us via e-mail or gathered automatically as outlined above is collected by Brash Entertainment (or a web agency or other vendor on our behalf); and, is used in accordance with the practices set forth in this Policy. Brash Entertainment can be reached by using the contact information provided above.
- Do we share information with outside companies?
Because our Sites do not collect any personal information from online visitors, the only information that we may share with other companies is aggregate traffic data about our Sites (such as how many users visited our Sites in a specific month). This data, if shared, would only be disclosed in anonymous aggregate form and shared with reputable business partners, either for geographical or audience composition analysis or for market research purposes.
We may also disclose information in the event of a merger, acquisition, re-organization, bankruptcy, or other similar event, or in the good faith belief we are required to do so by law or to protect the safety or rights (including intellectual property rights) of Brash Entertainment, our business partners, consumers, or the general public.
- Can you choose how your information is used, or access the information stored about you?
As stated in Section 2 above, Brash Entertainment does not solicit personal information from our online consumers and therefore does not really have any personal information that you can access or control. As a result, we are limited in the choices we can offer you with respect to controlling your personal information. Furthermore, any personal information you may submit to us via e-mail is generally disregarded once we have responded to your question or comment, and is therefore not readily available for you to access or change.
- What safeguards do we use to protect the information we collect?
Being that we do not collect or use any personal information about our Web Site visitors for purposes other than e-mail correspondence (see Section 2 above), we have not had any need to implement a mechanism to ensure the quality and security of the limited data that we receive. However, if there is any e-mail correspondence that we do keep (whether in electronic or print form), these records are kept strictly confidential and stored on premises or equipment only accessible to authorized Brash Entertainment personnel.
- What are you agreeing to when you use our Sites, and how are you notified of changes to this Privacy Policy?
By using our Web Sites, you acknowledge you have read and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Sites. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make any changes, we will update the effective date of the Policy or post the date the most recent updates or revisions were made. Please check back periodically to ensure you are aware of these changes. Your inaction or continued use of our Sites after these changes are posted will signify your acceptance of the new or revised Policy. If we make a material change to this Privacy Policy (for example, we want to collect and use your information in ways not previously disclosed in this Policy or that could not be reasonably expected by you), we will notify you by posting a prominent notice about the change on our Sites or in this Privacy Policy, and, if necessary or appropriate, provide you with certain choices before any such change goes into effect.
